An Introduction for school staff and trainees

Commentary:

This presentation is for school staff and especially for trainee staff to introduce them to some of the challenges which may be faced by twins and higher order multiples (triplets and quads). It has been developed by David Hay from Australia and Pat Preedy from the UK who have done the two largest studies of what parents, teachers and principals feel about the needs of these children and their families.

Many people have encountered some discussion of twins during their training but predominantly in the context of nature versus nurture. This presentation is NOT about genetics, but about the needs of multiple birth families.
